Our Safety Commitments

Here is what we guarantee every user on Velour:

How We Verify Companions

Before any companion can accept sessions on Velour, they must complete our multi-step verification process:

• Government ID verification — age and identity confirmed by a third-party verification service
• Background screening — reviewed for any history of harassment or misconduct
• Conduct agreement — must read and sign our companion code of conduct
• Trial period — new companions are monitored closely during their first 10 sessions
• Ongoing review — ratings and reports are reviewed monthly; low-rated companions are removed

Protecting Your Privacy During Sessions

We have built multiple layers of protection specifically for your sessions:

• Voice calls are routed through our servers — your real phone number is never shared
• Chat messages are encrypted end-to-end during transmission
• Session transcripts are deleted within 30 days (kept briefly only for safety purposes)
• Companions are contractually prohibited from recording sessions
• You can block any companion at any time — permanently

What Companions Are Not Allowed to Do

Our companion code of conduct strictly prohibits:

• Recording any session without explicit user consent
• Requesting personal information such as real name, address, or social profiles
• Attempting to move communication off the platform
• Making threats, engaging in blackmail, or coercive behaviour of any kind
• Sharing or discussing session content with any third party
• Engaging with users who appear to be minors under any circumstance
• Any form of financial solicitation outside the platform

Violation of any of these rules results in immediate suspension and potential permanent removal from the platform.

Your Rights During a Session

You are always in control. At any point during a session, you have the right to:

• End the session immediately — no explanation required
• Request a different companion for future sessions
• Block a companion so they can never contact you again
• Report a companion for any behaviour that made you uncomfortable
• Request a credit refund if a companion violated our guidelines

How to Report a Problem

If a companion makes you uncomfortable, violates our guidelines, or if you witness anything concerning, please report it immediately. Every report is taken seriously.

You will never be penalised, questioned, or made to feel judged for submitting a report. Your identity is kept completely confidential throughout the process.

Protecting Minors

Velour has zero tolerance for any content or interaction involving minors. We enforce this through:

• Mandatory age verification for all users and companions (18+ only)
• Immediate account termination for any attempt to bypass age verification
• Reporting to law enforcement of any suspected minor-related violations
• Regular audits of account activity to detect and prevent underage access

If you suspect that any user or companion on the platform is underage, please report it to us and to the relevant authorities immediately.

Your Emotional Wellbeing

We recognise that intimacy and emotional wellbeing are closely connected. Velour is a space for pleasure and connection — but we also care about you beyond your sessions.

Companions on Velour are entertainment providers, not therapists or counsellors. If you are going through a difficult time and need professional support, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional or a helpline in your area.
